Pharmachologic effect Antiviral agent of plant origin. High molecular weight polysaccharide belonging to the class of hexose glycosides. It increases the nonspecific resistance of the body to various infections and contributes to the induction of interferon synthesis.

Indications As part of complex therapy of tick-borne encephalitis (reduction of viral load and removal of neurological symptoms, including anisoreflexia, decreased reflexes, soreness of exit points of cranial nerves, nystagmus).

As part of complex therapy: herpesvirus infections of various localization (including recurrent genital herpes, Herpes zoster and ophthalmic herpes).

Decreased immunity in combination with infectious diseases.

Cytomegalovirus infection in combination with habitual miscarriage.

As part of complex therapy: papillomavirus infection (anogenital warts).

Dosage and administration In / in jet slowly, 200 mcg. When tick-borne encephalitis is administered 2 times with an interval of 48 or 24 hours. If necessary, after 1 month the treatment is repeated.

When CMV or papillomavirus infection is administered 3 times with an interval of 48 hours for 1 week and 2 times with an interval of 72 hours for 2 weeks.

Side effects Perhaps: allergic reactions.

Contraindications Severe kidney and spleen diseases, lactation, childhood, hypersensitivity to herbal remedies.
